SEN (Special Educational Needs) is a term used to describe learning difficulties that make it harder for a child or young person to learn compared to children of the same age.
At Green Oak Academy, we have supported a number of children with SEN to progress through the Maktab education system with the use of additional teaching resources and staffing structures. Many have made amazing progress, Alhamdulillah.
Our SEN Madrasah Sessions are an effort to cater for children in the community who have such learning difficulties which makes it difficult for them to progress in the normal Maktab system.
If your child has SEN and would benefit from attending such sessions, please do take advantage of these sessions.
Session details are as follows:
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Times: 3:45pm to 4:30pm (45mins)
- Age Range: 5yrs to 16yrs
- Small groups based on the needs of the child
- Individual focused learning as opposed to group based
- Fees: £40 per month per child.
- Site: Currently at the Masjid Site in Kings Heath only.
